Robert "Rob" Eric Chaney, 62

Robert “Rob” Eric Chaney, 62, of Henderson, passed away on April 8 at Deaconess Henderson Hospital. He was born on Nov. 14, 1961, to Bobby L. Chaney and the late Drue M. Prentice.

Rob was a man of many passions, but none held his heart quite like his love for technology. Rob found joy and fulfillment in all things “tech” related.

In addition to his interest in technology, Rob was deeply proud of his new Christian faith.

Rob was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Tamrya C. Chaney, and his mother, Drue M. Prentice. He is survived by his father, Bobby L. Chaney of Henderson; two sisters, Leesa Russell (Steve) of Poole and Terrea DeLong (Kenny) of Henderson; three stepchildren, Terri Jo Bivins, Jamie Braden and Travis Braden; five grandchildren, Austin Branson, Jeremiah Yewell, Micha Yewell, Madison Godsey and Kashton Campbell; as well as two nephews, Derek Belt (Kensi) and Dylan Sullivan; two great nephews, Brody Belt and Cooper Belt.

A memorial service to celebrate Rob’s life will be held at a later date, allowing loved ones to come together and honor his memory in a way that reflects the joy and love he brought into the world.
