On April 17 the Grant County Grand Jury handed down 18 indictments.
• Paul W. Savage, 55, was indicted for possession of a controlled substance (first degree, first offense, methamphetamine), possession of drug paraphernalia, operating on a suspended/revoked operator’s license and rear license not illuminated. The alleged offenses occurred March 24.
• Glenn E. McCormick, 40, was indicted for criminal mischief (first degree) in that he intentionally or wantonly defaced, destroyed or damaged property belonging to another causing a loss of $1,000 or more; wanton endangerment (first degree). receiving stolen property value over $500 but less than $10,000, possession of a controlled substance (first degree, third or subsequent offense, opiates), possession of drug paraphernalia, assault (third degree), operating a motor vehicle under the influence (first offense within a 10-year period), resisting arrest and no operator’s license. The alleged offenses took place Jan. 15.
• Bradley E. Cornwell, 40, was indicted for possession of a controlled substance (first degree, third or subsequent offense, methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia. The alleged offenses occurred March 26.
• Nicholas J. Ankenman, 28, was indicted for burglary (second degree), two counts of criminal mischief (second degree) in that he intentionally or wantonly defaced, destroyed or damaged property belonging to another; assault (fourth degree) and alcohol intoxication in a public place. The alleged events took place March 27.
• Joshua A. Bailey, 37, was indicted for possession of a controlled substance (first degree, first offense, methamphetamine), possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, no/expired Kentucky registration receipt, no/expired Kentucky registration plates, operating on suspended/revoked operator’s license, license to be in possession, failure to produce insurance card and failure of owner to maintain required insurance (first degree). The alleged occurrences took place March 28.
• Jordan L. Parmley, 25, was indicted for fraudulent use of a credit card. The alleged fraudulent use took place from Oct. 1, 2023 to Jan 31.
• Nathaniel S. Gerretson, 37, was indicted for burglary (second degree), strangulation (first degree), criminal mischief (first degree) in that he intentionally or wantonly defaced, destroyed or damaged property belonging to another causing a loss of $1,000 or more; terroristic threatening (third degree) and became a persistent felony offender in the first degree. The alleged incidents occurred March 14.
• Tyler D. Moore, 22, was indicted for two counts of wanton endangerment (first degree), operating a motor vehicle under the influence (second offense within a 10-year period), endangering the welfare of a minor and possession of an open alcohol beverage container in a motor vehicle. The alleged incidents took place Nov. 22 and 23, 2023.
• Aimee S. Johnson, 29, was indicted for fleeing or evading police (first degree), no or expired Kentucky registration plates, failure to register transfer of a motor vehicle, improper registration plate, failure of non-owner to maintain required insurance (first offense) failure to or improper signal, reckless driving and speeding and became a persistent felony offender in the first degree. The alleged incidents occurred Feb. 25.
• Jason C. Nicholson, 41, was indicted for being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm. The alleged incident took place March 1.
• Johnny R. Hermeling, 38, was indicted for possession of a controlled substance (first degree, second offense, methamphetamine), possession of drug paraphernalia and public intoxication. The alleged incidents occurred Jan. 1
• Erik M. O’Hara, 31, was indicted for possession of a controlled substance (first degree, third or subsequent offense, heroin) and possession of drug paraphernalia. The alleged offenses occurred March 16.
• Anthony J. Taylor, 30, was indicted for possession of a controlled substance (first degree, third or subsequent offense, fentanyl), possession of drug paraphernalia, operating a motor vehicle while license suspended or revoked and operating a vehicle with an expired operator’s license. The alleged incidents took place Jan. 31.
• Darren Abney, 30, was indicted for possession of a controlled substance (first degree, third or subsequent offense, methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia. The alleged offenses occurred March 20.
• Jason Smith, 44, was indicted for two counts of wanton endangerment (first degree), criminal mischief (first degree) in that he intentionally or wantonly defaced, destroyed or damaged property belonging to another causing a loss of $1,000 or more; operating a motor vehicle under the influence (first offense within a 10-year period), failure of owner to maintain required insurance (first offense) and possession of an open alcohol beverage container in a motor vehicle. The alleged incidents took place Feb. 22.
• Randall M. Lucas, 33, was indicted for possession of a controlled substance (first degree, first offense, fentanyl), possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, operating on suspended or revoked operator’s license, failure to produce insurance card, improper lane usage and speeding. The alleged incidents took place Feb. 23.
• Sean M. Edmondson, 35, was indicted for flagrant non-support alleged to have taken place between July 27, 2012 and March 31.
• Robert Craig, 46, was indicted for flagrant non-support alleged to have taken place between March 8, 2019 and March 31.
