Williamstown senior Orion Taylor was awarded a scholarship made possible by the Kentucky School Board Association (KSBA) and the KSBA Educational Foundation.
Taylor was one of five students to be awarded a $2,500 First Degree College Scholarship. The KSBA’s First Degree program provides aid to eligible high school seniors who will be in the first in their immediate families to complete a postsecondary degree program. Students must also meet minimum academic requirements.
The award was presented at the KSBA’s annual conference at the Galt House in Louisville on March 2.
