Competing in the North Central Kentucky Track Conference at Henry County, the Braves had several athletes place across the various competitions. Grant County boasted a strong performance on the 16th as Lincoln Herald and Gavin Scroggins qualified for the Eastern Relays at the University of Louisville.

Meanwhile, the remainder of the team will compete in the Taft Downtown Go Around in Cincinnati competition in the same week.

Breaking the school record set in 1998, Scroggins was the champion in the 300m hurdles with a time of 42.26 seconds. Scroggins also took first in the 110m hurdles, beating the Western Hills runner, who took second.

Herald was the winner of the Boy's 800m race, taking the victory with a margin of 6.82 seconds.

The final Brave to place was Owen Leap, who took 5th in the Boy's Long jump falling just behind Owen County in fourth.

The Lady Braves likewise had a strong performance with  girls earning various placements. One of the best placements the Lady Braves had was in the Girls 4x800m Relay in which Sarah Maynard, Rylee Conway, Adilynn Crittenden, and Jasmine Swartz took 2nd place.

Rylee Akers, Laela Cook, Vivian Hyde, and Swartz earned another second-place medal in Girls 4x100m relay, finishing just 3.87 seconds behind Louisville Collegiate in first.

Finishing 3rd in the Girl's 1600m run was Crittenden, who placed behind Williamstown Lady Demons' runner Cameron Reynolds.

Hyde ran the Girl's 100m hurdles and took fourth place before competing in the 300m with Swartz. Finishing 4th and 5th respectively, they came in behind Frankfort in first, Carroll in second and Louisville Collegiate in third.

Finally, Addison Case placed 7th in the Girl's Shot Put with a score of 22-06.50 placing her inches behind Francis Parker School

In the Unified relays and Long Jumps, the Braves and Lady Braves once again had a great performance with multiple high placements.

Four of the Braves ran in the Unified 2x50m relay. Ellee Lane and Conner Steinborn took fourth while Johannah Lane and partner Devlin Snedicor came in at sixth place.

Facing off in the Unified Long Jump Grant fought hard as Johannah Lane and partner Owen Leap came in fourth.

Still not to be outdone Ellee Lane and Conner Steinborn ended the meet strong with a first-place victory.

Fighting hard several of the Braves demonstrated an excellent performance with continued improvement throughout the season.

Both Herald and Scroggins move on to the Eastern Relays.
