Williamstown’s baseball team celebrated their lone senior, Alex Jordan, with a ceremony on Saturday, April 27.
For Jordan, the senior night held deep meaning.
“I feel honored to have reached this point. Playing baseball has been a huge part of my life, especially the thrill of competition,” Jordan shared.
Reflecting on his evolution as a player, Jordan noted,
“I started with T-ball and have been playing ever since, advancing through little league and now into high school.”
Navigating challenges has shaped Jordan’s experience. “Dealing with injuries and adapting to lead a younger team has been huge for me,” Jordan explained.
The camaraderie within the team has been a cornerstone of Jordan’s experience.
“We’re always communicating, on and off the field. There’s never a dull moment,” he remarked.
While baseball might not be in his future plans, Alex Jordan is optimistic about what lies ahead.
“I’m looking to enter the workforce, focusing on HVAC,” Jordan disclosed. To younger players Jordan emphasized commitment.
“Give everything you do 100%,” he encouraged.
