    Grant County High School’s archery team competed at the National Archery in the Schools Program’s state tournament March 15-16 in Louisville. 

    GCHS finished 33rd out of 107 teams.

    The Williamstown Lady Demons got their softball season off to a winning start March 18 by defeating Paris 16-6 in six innings.

    The victory was the first game for new head coach Ali Rich.

    A data-driven injury prevention program from the Orthopedic Institute at St. Elizabeth is helping local student athletes stay out of the doctor’s office and in the game.

    The girl’s District 32 matchup between Grant County and Walton-Verona ended the Lady Braves’ season with a 58-51 loss.

    The Grant County Braves traveled to Simon Kenton High School on Feb. 19 to take on the Walton-Verona Bearcats in the first round of the District 32 tournament. The Braves came up short in a bid to upset the Bearcats, losing 54-49.
