  • Webster-Dade plan wedding

    Joe and Jackie Webster of Williamstown are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Emily Jo Webster to Benjamin Andrew Dade, son of Chris and Maria Dade of Williamstown.

    The wedding is being planned for 4:30 p.m. on July 30 at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. A reception will follow at the JMB Center, 2020 Taft Highway in Dry Ridge.

  • Workman-Rider plan reception

    Tyanna Workman and Jason Rider were united in marriage on July 12 at Gatlinburg, Tenn.

    There will be a reception at 6:30 p.m. on July 16 at the JMB Hall in Dry Ridge.

    All friends and family are invited to attend.

  • Local circuit clerk attends clerk’s college

    Grant County Circuit Court Clerk Shirley Wilson participated in the 2011 Circuit Clerks Summer College held June 14-16 in Florence.

    The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Division of Driver Licensing, sponsored the event and provided training on fraudulent documents, driver education programs and services available through the Division of Driver Licensing’s field offices.

  • County schools gear up for new year

    NKU Grant County holds open enrollment July 19
    NKU Grant County Center will hold open registration from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. July 19.
    Academic advisors will be at the NKU Grant County Center to assist all attendees. In addition, financial assistance and testing staff will be available.
    To attend, you must be admitted to NKU for fall 2011 semester. If you’re not admitted yet, go to www.nku.edu to apply.
