    Six locals break a leg at Kincaid Theatre

  • Police investigate burglary at Bluegrass Tobacco

    Williamstown Police are investigating a July 8 burglary at Bluegrass Tobacco.

    The store, located at 1214C North Main St. in Williamstown, was allegedly broken into after two men through rocks through the glass front door, according to police.

    Police believe nothing was taken from the store after the suspects attempted to take money from the registers.

    The suspects are described as white males about 5 feet 8 inches to 6 feet tall.

  • INDICTMENTS

    The grand jury, which met July 11, returned indictments against 18 people.

    An indictment means there is probable cause to believe a crime has been committed; guilt or innocence is established later through the trial process.

    Those indicted were:

    • Larry B. Cox, 24, three counts of trafficking in a controlled substance in the first degree, first offense

    • Crystal J. Flores, 35, two counts of trafficking in a controlled substance in the first degree, first offense
