    Sign-ups for Grant County Braves Youth Wrestling will be held from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Sept. 21 and Sept. 28 at the Grant County High School auditorium for children in kindergarten through eighth grade.

    The Grant County Braves weathered horrible conditions at Henry County on Sept. 8 to capture a victory at the Henry County Invitational.  

  • Braves fall 26-6 to North Laurel on the road

    The Grant County Braves football team lost their third consecutive game 26-6 when North Laurel ran away with the win in the third quarter after a tight first half.

    The Jaguars started off the scoring with a 20-yard TD run by Hutton Shepherd in the first quarter, followed by a two-point conversion.

    Missed chances cost the Williamstown Demons soccer team in a 5-1 loss Sept. 5 to Beechwood at home.

    The scoring started in the 15th minute when the Tigers converted on a penalty kick after a Williamstown handball in the box.

    After falling behind early, the Braves’ boys soccer team came back to defeat Walton 2-1 on Sept. 4 for a crucial district win.

    Mike Wolfe, Frank Fritz, and their team are excited to return to Kentucky! They plan to film episodes of the hitseries American Pickers throughout the state in October of 2018!

    American Pickers is a documentary series that explores the fascinating world of antique “picking” on History.

    Country Pumpkins in Dry Ridge is adding a new event for their farm of fun.

    The first-ever Chunkin’ Pumpkin 5K Fun Run will be held at 9 a.m. Sept. 22 at the farm located on Sherman-Mt. Zion Road.
