For the Hale family, sports brings them together as Barry and Barbara and their two sons, Chris and Kasey became a part of the Grant County Special Olympics three years ago and have enjoyed it since.

Chris and Kasey’s favorite sport is basketball and are getting ready for the season to start.

Both said they like the game because it is fun for them.

With limited opportunities for athletes with disabilities, Special Olympics offer the chance to be part of a team and play sports.
