    William Henry Weidner, 74, died Sunday, July 1, 2018 at Carroll County Memorial Hospital. 

    He was the son of the late William Harold and Sarah Lynn Ekfer Weidner.

    Charles R. “Chuck” Weddle, 67, of Dry Ridge, Kentucky, passed away on the afternoon of Sunday, July 8, 2018, at the St. Elizabeth Hospice Center in Edgewood.

    He was born April 7, 1951 in Cincinnati, Ohio, a son of the late Rev. Earl and Faye (Trimble) Weddle.

    Robert Lawrence Powell, Jr. was born Aug. 10, 1934 in Mason, Kentucky and passed away July 6, 2018 in Erlanger, Kentucky at the age of 83.  He was the son of the late Robert Lawrence, Sr. and Evelyn Evans Powell.

  • Jefferson ‘Jake’ Webb II, 74

    Jefferson Edgar “Jake” Webb II, a.k.a. “Grandpaw Dog”, 74, died Friday, June 29, 2018 at his residence in Dunedin, Florida. 

    He was born on Feb. 4, 1944 in Hayswood Hospital in Maysville, Kentucky, Mason County and the first son of his parents the late Jefferson E. Webb and Helen Marksbury Webb of Williamstown. He retired at 55 from AT&T Communications in Cincinnati, Ohio, after more than 30 years of service.

    Joseph Swope, 83, of Dry Ridge, died Thursday, June 21, 2018 in the comfort of his home in Dry Ridge. 

    He was born October 25, 1934 in Altoona, Pennslvania to the late Wilbert and Mary Swope.

    Brenda M. Cruey nee Johns, 78, of Erlanger, died Sunday, June 24, 2018 at her home. She was the daughter of the late Chester “Tim” and Edna McCoy Johns.

    Survivors include her husband, Russell Lee Cruey of Erlanger; sons, Jeff Cruey of Hebron and Mark Cruey of Florence; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
