  • On Sept 15, relatives raising children were given resources for the unique challenges they face raising grandchildren or other relatives at GrandParentCamp held at Sherman Elementary School.
    The camp was coordinated by Nancy Powell, the family resource center director at SES and marked not only the first such camp to be held in the Northern Kentucky area, it was the first GrandParent Camp for the national organization, ParentCamp. The goal is to have a GrandParentCamp in every Kentucky county.
