  • So, this is the last time I’m writing about Jonah -- I promise. Maybe.
It’s just that his story is so chock-full of things that smack me between my eyes.
Last week I wrote about being inside the fish. This week, Jonah’s been spit out onto the shore, alive.
My pastor said of this recently: “The grace of God spins you like a tornado, then it throws you out.”
He added, “It throws you back in the fray,” back in the game, back in the battle.

  • Cruising thousands of feet above the rolling Bluegrass hills of central Kentucky on a Sunday afternoon, Williamstown High School senior Corey Fryman knows just where he’s headed.

With plans to attend Eastern Kentucky University in the fall for their aviation program, funding college got a little bit easier after receiving a scholarship worth up to $10,000 from the Ray Aviation Scholarship program on Feb. 18.

On a 16-inch wood lathe, ornamental cherry becomes a bowl, magnolia becomes a wooden pear and sugar maple becomes a vase by Linden’s hands and tools.
