Grant County Sheriff
Deputy Tony Stigers executed a Grant and Kenton County warrant for Charles L. Woods, 49, of Corinth, for failure to appear, at 4:54 p.m. July 29 on Saylor Drive. Woods was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Deputy Tony Stigers executed a warrant for Harold Begley, 24, of Corinth, for burglary in the third degree and theft by unlawful taking, at 5:59 p.m. July 29 on Old Corinth Owenton Road. Begley was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Deputy Scott Conrad executed a warrant for Keith M. Russell, 21, of Crittenden, for non-payment of fines and parole violation, at 1:38 p.m. July 30 on Harlan Street. Russell was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Deputy Robert Morgan charged David A. Curry, 50, of Dry Ridge, with two counts of assault in the fourth degree and interfering with communications, at 3:26 a.m. July 31 on Jillian Drive. Curry was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Deputy Barry Mullins executed a warrant for Jerry W. Draper Jr., 25, of Dry Ridge, for probation violation, at 11:10 a.m. July 31 on N. Main Street. Draper was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Deputy Mike Wright charged William M. Anderson, 54, of Crittenden, with burglary in the second degree and assault in the fourth degree, at 7:51 p.m. July 31 on Barley Circle. Anderson was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Sgt. Dennis Switzer executed a warrant for Shawn C. Bowling, 30, of Corinth, for theft by unlawful taking, at 2:04 p.m. Aug. 1 on N. Main Street. Bowling was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Sgt. Dennis Switzer executed a warrant for Daniel K. Simmons, 26, of Corinth, for theft by unlawful taking, at 2:14 p.m. Aug. 1 on N. Main Street. Simmons was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Sgt. Tim Slone executed a warrant for Brian Morrish Jr., 26, of Crittenden, with no operators license and failure to produce insurance card, at 2:30 p.m. Aug. 3 on N. Main Street. Morrish was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Deputy Tony Stigers executed a Boone and Grant County warrant for Brandon Smith, 26, of Crittenden, at 5:19 p.m. Aug. 3 on Harlan Street. Smith was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Sgt. Andy Reeves investigated an accident at 12:40 p.m. July 30 on Dry Ridge-Mt. Zion Road. The drivers involved were an unknown hit-and-run and Wesley K. Bruce, 31, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2003 Chevrolet.
Sgt. Brian Maines investigated an accident at 8:36 p.m. July 31 on Dixie Highway. The driver involved was Kimberly K. Helton, 48, of Corinth, driving a 2009 Toyota.
The sheriff’s office served 68 summons/subpoenas, served 55 hours in court, executed seven emergency protective orders, investigated one accident involving an out-of-county resident, executed three warrants involving out-of-county residents and drove 731 miles transporting prisoners.

 

Kentucky State Police
Kentucky State Police executed a warrant for David A. Nelson, 33, of Dry Ridge, at 12:02 p.m. July 31 on S. Main Street. Nelson was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Kentucky State Police executed a warrant for Ricky A. Courtney, 45, of Williamstown, at noon July 31 on S. Main Street. Courtney was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Kentucky State Police executed a warrant for Joshua Jones, 19, of Williamstown, at 4:31 p.m. July 31 on John Denny Road. Jones was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Kentucky State Police executed a warrant for Amanda K. Hall, of Dry Ridge, at 12:58 p.m. Aug. 2 on Gouge Drive. Hall was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Kentucky State Police charged Johnathan S. Estep, 21, of Crittenden, with mentally ill person to harm himself or others, at 3:51 a.m. Aug. 3 on Vincent Boulevard. Estep was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Kentucky State Police executed a warrant for Lisa Dozier, 50, of Crittenden, at 9:31 p.m. Aug. 4 on Oak Drive. Dozier was also charged with alcohol intoxication and failure to notify the Department of Transportation of address change. Dozier was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Trooper Kyle Reams investigated an accident at 10:17 a.m. July 31. The driver involved was Charles W. Long, 65, of Crittenden, driving a 2004 Toyota.
Trooper Jeven Kedding investigated an accident at 3:02 p.m. July 31. The driver involved was a juvenile, of Williamstown, driving a 1996 Ford.
Trooper Kyle Reams investigated an accident at 3:50 p.m. Aug. 3 on Highview Drive. The drivers involved were a juvenile, of Dry Ridge, driving a 1999 GMC and Deborah Long, 38, of Cincinnati, Ohio, driving a 1999 Chevrolet.
Trooper Kyle Reams investigated an accident at 5:15 p.m. Aug. 3 on Dry Ridge-Mt. Zion Road. The drivers involved were Paula Edmondson, 43, of Dry Ridge, driving a 1998 Pontiac and Harold Sechrest, 72, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2006 Chevrolet.

 

Williamstown Police
Officer Matt Boshears executed a Boone County warrant for Christopher L. Seenters, 30, of Dry Ridge, for criminal possession of a forged instrument, at 11:15 p.m. July 30. Seenters was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
 Officer Brad Morris executed a Boone County warrant for Holly M. Croy, for possession of a controlled substance in the first degree in the first offense, at 5:34 a.m. July 31 on Ky 36. Croy was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Officer Steve Cornman charged Gilbert B. Gibson, 33, of Corinth, with theft by unlawful taking, at 9:01 p.m. Aug. 32 on Ferguson Boulevard. Gibson was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
Officer Robert Reed charged Estill C. Willoughby, 42, of Dry Ridge, with alcohol intoxication, at 11:30 a.m. Aug. 3 on Barnes Road. Willoughby was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.
The Williamstown Police investigated an accident and cited an out-of-county resident with speeding and driving on a suspended license.
