Landrum earns 'surprise' Kentucky PGA Presidents Plaque Award

-A A +A
By Paul Gable

Darryl Landrum can remember being 14 years old, playing rounds of golf at Eagle Creek and telling people that one day he would be the pro at Grant County's lone golf course.

"A lot of people laughed when I told them," Landrum said.

In the end, it has been Landrum who has had the last laugh, as he has spent approximately a dozen years as the pro at Eagle Creek. During that time, Landrum has been the recipient of several awards, including last year's Kentucky PGA Pro of the Year Award.
