Lady Braves finish fourth, Wtown’s Hudson second at Sugar Bay

The Grant County Lady Braves competed in the Walton Verona Bearcat Birdie Bash at Sugar Bay Golf Course on July 28.

There were 11 teams and one individual who competed in the tournament.

The Lady Braves finished fourth overall with a team score of 411.  

St. Henry, always a strong regional foe for the Lady Braves, won the tournament with a score of 363.  Owen County was runner-up with a score of 394.  

Hannah Hall of Walton Verona was the medalist with a score of 81 and Madison Hudson of Williamstown, who competed as an individual, finished second with a score of 83.

The Lady Braves were led by Victoria Camacho, who finished seventh overall with a score of 91.  Anna Slaughter shot a 102, Laura Tatum a 105 and Lydia Smith a 113.
