Injury bug hits Grant County Lady Braves...again

-A A +A
By Paul Gable

The gymnasium at Grant County High School does not resemble a M.A.S.H. setting, but girls' basketball coach Darrell Guffey would not be offended if it did.

It seems any injury imaginable has hit the Lady Braves, who have lost nine straight games to fall to 5-16 overall.

While many coaches and players would be upset with the record, Guffey and his team is not upset, but rather focused on trying to get healthy with seven regular season games left.

"We want to get healthy and we want to get healthy quick," said Guffey.
