For the second year in a row, Grant County Parks and Recreation will kick-off Halloween festivities with Glow in the Dark at the Park.
The event will take place from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 22 in the cattle barn at Grant County Park in Crittenden.
Pumpkins and glow-in-the-dark paint will be provided for participants, along with refreshments.
Last year, the glow-in-the-dark event had more than 150 painters decorating pumpkins.
“The feedback that we received last year is that it was a little different from your typical fall or Halloween events and the parents and kids liked that,” said Mattie Gutman, Grant County Parks and Recreation director. “It’s a great event for parents and caregivers to do together and it’s fun. We are also working on having a hayride that will go through out the park.”
