Dry Ridge water main break affects 16 roads

A mid-morning water main break at the corner of Taft Highway and Warsaw Road left many residents under a boil advisory Oct. 9.
City Clerk Amy Kenner said the boil warning was just a precaution since service was disrupted for all homes on the west side of I-75 in Dry Ridge.
Kenner said public works was able to fix the issue in a few hours after the break happened around 11:30 a.m.
Kenner said the city doesn’t know how many gallons of water escaped or how many residents were affected.
