In her final high school race, Natalie Norman pushed herself to do her best, knowing that she would finish as one of the top runners in the state.
Norman set a personal record with a time of 2:15.25 in the 800-meter dash, coming in second behind Emma Brink of Sacred Heart, who set a state record with a time of 2:13.88.
“I was a little disappointed, but I was happy with my race overall,” Norman said. “It’s a nice way to end my high school career. I’m excited to see how I run in college.”
