Yellow caution flags flew frequently towards the end of the Built Ford Tough 225.
Ron Hornaday, Jr. battled Mike Skinner to the end, taking advantage of several late restarts to win the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Race at the Kentucky Speedway on July 18. The win at Kentucky was Hornaday Jr.’s third consecutive win.
“I hate to say it, but we didn’t have the truck to win,” Hornaday Jr. said. “It’s just the restarts worked out in our favor and Rick Ren (Hornaday Jr.’s crew chief) did a great job.”
