The Grant County High School’s Braves football homecoming game against the East Jessamine Jaguars took place on an unusually cool night in September.
The crisp, night air prompted many in the packed stands to wear jackets and buy hot chocolate. Unfortunately, the cooler weather wasn’t the only problem for the Braves as they ended the game with a 40-19 loss.
“East Jessamine was big and physical. We had to play a perfect game to beat them and we made too many mistakes,” said GCHS Football Coach Kevin Siple.
