This year, the Braves finished 11th overall at the state tournament, which was held at Bowling Green Country Club Oct. 3-4.

Anderson County’s Andrew Lykins returned the kickoff 48 yards for a touchdown to open the game and the Bearcats never looked back.

The visitors easily handled Grant County 43-8 on Sept. 29 to drop the Braves to 0-7 on the season.

Braves Coach Jamie Dalzell said the team lost its focus, leading to frustrating penalties and an overall poor performance.

How could 11 UK staff members in the pressbox not noticed or how could no one on the UK sideline not seen a player standing five yards from them with no one on him?
