Photo by Jerry Morris" align="left" hspace="6" /><p> &nbsp;</p> <p> By Tim Seevers</p> Grammer resigns as GCHS basketball coach http://www.grantky.com/content/grammer-resigns-gchs-basketball-coach <p> The Grant County High School boys&rsquo; basketball team is looking for a new coach.<br /> Brandon Grammer recently resigned from the head coaching position after three seasons with the Braves.<br /> During his tenure, Grant County&rsquo;s record was 39-51 and the program won two district tournament championships. Photo by Jerry Morris " align="left" hspace="6" /><p> The Grant County Lady Braves softball team is off to a slow start. &nbsp;<br /> After all the rain and snow outs, the season is getting underway. &nbsp;<br /> The softball squad has played five games on the season and their record is 1-4.&nbsp; The Lady Braves lost a hard fought contest on March 17 against Ryle by the score of 9-4. &nbsp;<br /> Alayna Barnes took the mound for the Braves allowing 10 hits and nine walks during the contest.
