Miskell finds niche in wrestling

Cody Miskell sat on the bleachers near the warm-up mat at Alltech Arena in Lexington, thinking of what could have been if he had made it past the first day of the KHSAA State Wrestling tournament.

“I was disappointed in myself and that it was all over for me,” Miskell said. “I couldn’t believe I lost.”

With two years of wrestling under his belt and a 42-7 record going into the tournament, Miskell has come a long way from his first day of wrestling in 2010.
