The Grant County Farmers’ Market has a new location. The market has moved the Williamstown/Dry Ridge location from 1505 North Main Street in Williamstown to 210 Barnes Road, Williamstown.
As of this 2015 Market selling season, the Grant County Farmers’ Market is no longer affiliated with any activities at the North Main Street location which is adjacent to the Eagle Creek Learning Center.

Most new laws approved during the Kentucky General Assembly’s 2015 regular session go into effect next week.
The state constitution specifies that new laws take effect 90 days after the adjournment of the legislature. The General Assembly’s 2015 session adjourned on March 25, making June 24 the day for new laws to take effect.
Since he took office in January, Grant County Judge-Executive Steve Wood has officiated 27 wedding ceremonies.
Wood will no longer perform any weddings after the United States Supreme Court’s June 26 landmark decision legalizing same-sex marriages.
A 22-year-old Crittenden man faces charges of attempting to murder a police officer in connection with a June 15 shootout in his Indian Hills Drive neighborhood.
Shane Propes is out of the hospital and lodged in the Grant County Detention Center.
Propes was allegedly walking down the street carrying a gun when police were called to the scene.
Grant County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Tony Stigers fired multiple rounds at Propes after the suspect allegedly fired multiple shots and turned his weapon toward Stigers.
As your county clerk, I completed the final task of the election process for the 2015 Primary Election by presenting reports and election results to the grand jury on June 3, 2015. The election held on May 19 went smoothly and the recanvass on May 28 went well.
