  • PERSONALLY SPEAKING

I like to see democracy in action. I know that’s weird, but it’s true.
Democracy was in action Monday night at the Williamstown City Council meeting.

Discussion, which lasted over an hour, centered on which company should be hired to do a preliminary engineering study for the city’s water treatment plant.

    Four engineering firms submitted proposals.

  • We were made to be ‘Courageous’

I have allowed God back into my life and I couldn’t be any happier.
With giving my life to God, I have developed a closer relationship to my fiancé, Jessica Purnell and Jesus Christ.

Jessica and I went to Williamstown Christian Church, March 16, for the movie, “Courageous”, a film about five men making a resolution to be better fathers in their home, teaching the Word of God to their families.

It is an inspirational film that tests you even if you are not a father, if you are living what God has planned for you.

  • PERSONALLY SPEAKING

    This is more like it.

After spending two years on death row with Billy Clyde at the helms of my beloved Wildcats, Coach Cal in his first three years has UK where I want, scratch that, need them to be every year... competing for a national championship.

My heart breaks and a little piece of me dies every time UK loses.
Luckily, I have only came near death twice this season when we fell to the hated Hoosiers and the usually overmatched Vandy Commodores.

  • With regrets, you can rot in Denmark

"With regrets, you can rot in Denmark. That’s what she gets for breaking my heart." Those are my only two replies to the numerous emails I have received about the desperate situations some of you have found yourself in over the past few months.

It seems while traveling some of our citizens lost their money and emailed me from their intelligent phones asking for assistance. I’ll change the names to protect the proposed guilty.
