The majority opted for a congressional change in the past mid-term election, and how is that working for you, especially if you’re not working? Reading the recent comments of the Corinth writer, I recall those oft spoken words by John Kasich, the governor of Ohio, who was mentioned in their letter. “If we can,” seemed to be the extent of his vocabulary, but it was enough to shift the political leadership in Ohio.

I would like to address the budget and the lack of movement on the Republicans part on taking some of the loopholes away from the wealthy.

During last year’s campaign for Ohio’s Governor’s seat, there was a TV commercial from his opponent that used a sound bite showing Kasich saying that bonuses, that no one needed to know about, could be used for his staff.

Mann appreciates GCHS Football Boosters
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the volunteers who make up the Grant County Football Boosters. Because of their hard work the boosters supply 100 percent of the funding for the Grant County Middle School football program and over 80 percent for the Grant County High School football program.

Ark not funded by government funds
In regards to the proposed Ark Encounter, Sara Meric writes that it is “a blatant violations of the U.S. Constitution’s wall or separation between church and state.” First of all, this separation is not in the Constitution. It is a false construct introduced in 1947 by the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) and gone along with by a liberal U.S. Supreme Court. The Supreme Court has gone along with more than one atrocity, witness Dred Scot.
