Kentucky poet and author George Ella Lyon will visit the Grant County Public Library on Monday, Nov. 17.
She will lead a workshop for select Williamstown and Grant County High School students at 1 p.m., followed by a 4 p.m. workshop for teachers.
The author will give a public talk at 6 p.m. about the importance of family literacy.
Lyon’s visit serves as a finale to the library’s Northern Kentucky One Book, One Community project.
Participants in the project have been reading and discussing Lyon’s “With a Hammer For My Heart.”
