    Pam Mullins saw the benefits of the Preschool / Head Start programs in Grant County up close.
    Not long after she enrolled her daughter in preschool, Mullins became involved in teaching.
    She now has 16 years of experience in Preschool / Head Start and her daughter is studying to follow in her footsteps at Northern Kentucky University.

  • DEDICATED SERVICE

    Glenn Caldwell was presented a clock by city employees for his service to the city of Williamstown. Caldwell was Williamstown’s mayor from 1997 to 2010. A park bench, which will be placed at the fountain by the city building, was also purchased in his honor. Caldwell opted not to seek re-election as mayor instead he successfully won a seat on the council.

  • Fish on Fridays!

    The annual Lenton Fish Fry has returned to St. William Catholic Church and continues through April 15.
    The meal, including battered cod, three sides, cornbread, dessert and a drink will be served from 5 to 8 p.m. at 6 Church Street, off Waterworks Road. The cost is $7.50 per meal.

  • Reeds celebrate 25 years

    Gayle and Deborah Reed will celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary from 2 to 5 p.m. March 26 at Unity Baptist Church, 1486 Jagg Road in Demossville.
    The couple was married on March 28, 1986. The party is given by their children and grandchildren. All friends and family are invited. The family requests no gifts.
