The Dry Ridge Elementary cafeteria was filled almost to capacity with men and their children, on Sept. 1, to kick off the WATCH D.O.G.S. (Dads Of Great Students) program.
This is the second year for the program at DRE, and it is the only such program in Grant County schools.
The national program began in an Arkansas school in 1998. Currently, there are 5,348 registered WATCH D.O.G.S. schools in 47 states, along with schools in Canada, China, Mexico, Barbados and Puerto Rico, according to the national website for the program.
