An escaped inmate is back in custody at the Grant County Detention Center after more than a month of freedom.
Uriah Lee Snyder, 31, was caught last week by the Parke County, Indiana, Sheriff’s Office, in Rockville, Indiana.
He was extradited back to Kentucky on Oct. 13 by Bobby Webb and Mike Webster of the Grant County Sheriff’s Office.
Snyder was in jail on probation charges stemming from prior charges of second-degree robbery.
He was found living in a tent behind a friend’s house with his girlfriend, said Sheriff Chuck Dills.
