Grant County will participate Jan. 27 in a Northern Kentucky count of homeless men, women, children and families.
The annual Point-In-Time Count, coordinated by the Northern Kentucky Area Development District, is required every other year by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
It will take place during the 24-hour period beginning at midnight until 11:59 p.m.
To more accurately count the homeless population, Kentucky counts every year.
The count has been conducted in January since 2004.
