    Dry Ridge

    Chief Rick Kells investigated an accident at 12:19 p.m. Aug. 8 on KY 22. The drivers involved were Anna M. Mills, 18, of Dry Ridge, driving a 1999 Chevrolet and Charles Asher, 62, of Dry Ridge, driving a 1992 Ford.

    Deputy Lee Jacobs executed a Harrison County warrant for Christoper L. Annis, 24, of Corinth. The arrest occurred at 3:30 p.m. on Aug. 5 at the Grant County Detention Center.

  • Indictments 8-20-09

    The grand jury, which met Aug. 12, returned indictments against five people.

    An indictment means there is probable cause to believe a crime has been committed; guilt or innocence is established later through the trial procedure.

    Those indicted were:

    • Tamela L. Gatewood, 42, with three counts trafficking in a controlled substance, first offense.

    • Mischelle R. Mayme, 35, two counts of possession of a controlled substance, first offense and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia.
