    Dry Ridge

    Chief Rick Kells investigated an accident at 2:42 p.m. May 12 on Arnie Risen Boulevard. The driver involved was John E. Haney, 50, of Corinth, driving a 2006 Dodge, which hit a parked 2007 school bus.

  • Indictments

    The grand jury, which met May 5, returned indictments against 10 people.

    An indictment means there is probable cause to believe a crime has been committed; guilt or innocence is established later through the trial procedure.

    Those indicted were:

    • David S. Johnson, 31, possession of a controlled substance, first degree, first offense, possession of drug paraphernalia, first offense and persistent felony offender, second degree.
