    Chief Rick Kells investigated an accident at 1:17 p.m. June 30 on S. Main Street. The drivers involved wre Gregory S. Ellis, 37, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2002 Saturn and John Patrick, 48, of DeMossville, driving a 2004 Chevrolet.

    Chief Rick Kells investigated an accident at 1:30 p.m. June 22 on Warsaw Road. The drivers involved were Katherine E. Cornett, 18, of Lexington, driving a 2008 Mazda and Deborah K. Helmer, 38, of Williamstown, driving a 2009 Toyota.

    Chief Rick Kells investigated an accident at 12:55 p.m. June 21 on Arbors Drive. The driver involved was Hollie N. Perrier, 38, of Corinth, driving a 1996 Chevrolet and a parked 2008 Chrysler owned by Tom Rothwell, of Dry Ridge.

  • Indictments 6-24-10

    The grand jury, which met June 30, returned indictments against 11 people.

    An indictment means there is probable cause to believe a crime has been committed; guilt or innocence is established later through the trial procedure.

    Those indicted were:

    • Patysisio Gamez, 33, criminal possession of a forged prescription.

    • Shawn W. Mardis, 38, possession of a controlled substance, first degree, first offense and possession of drug paraphernalia, second or subsequent offense.

    Dry Ridge

    Chief Rick Kells charged Bernadette Messer, 29, of Dry Ridge, with alcohol intoxication in a public place at 7:50 p.m. June 12 on Redwood Drive. Messer was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.

    Chief Rick Kells investigated an accident at 2:54 p.m. May 28 on Ferguson Boulevard. The drivers involved were Ashley R. David, 19, of DeMossville, driving a 2005 Toyota and Rosie P. Baker, 52, of Dry Ridge, driving a 1999 Toyota.

    Grant County Sheriff's Office

    Deputy Scott Conrad charged Mark T. Hill, 36, of Crittenden, with assault fourth degree at 2:35 a.m. June 1 on Barley Circle. Hill was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.

    Deputy Scott Conrad executed two warrants for Dusty R. Wilson at 5:21 a.m. June 1 on Cherry Hill Drive. Wilson was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.

    Chief Rick Kells investigated an accident at 11:46 a.m. May 26 on N. Main Street. The drivers involved were Lindsey A. Carroll, 26, of Florence, driving a 1998 Toyota and Keisha Whiteker Delaney, 36, of Corinth, driving a 2004 Chevrolet.

    Dry Ridge Police Department investigated an accident involving an out of county resident.
