    Dry Ridge

    Chief Rick Kells charged Tonya A. Beach 32, of Williamstown, with theft by unlawful taking/shoplifting under $500 at 11:30 a.m. Oct. 22 on Ferguson Boulevard. Beach was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.

    The Dry Ridge Police Department investigated an accident involving out of county residents.

  • Indictments 10-21-10

    The grand jury, which met Oct. 13, returned indictments against seven people.

    An indictment means there is probable cause to believe a crime has been committed; guilt or innocence is established later through the trial procedure.

    Those indicted were:

    • Tosha M. Adams, 22, criminal mischief first degree and criminal attempt to burglary second degree.

    • Tiffney M. McCoy, 23, theft by unlawful taking or disposition of property over $500.

    Chief Rick Kells charged Laura E. Hibbard, 25, of Williamstown, with expired tags and no insurance at 8:30 a.m. Oct. 8 on Blackburn Drive. Hibbard was also arrested on a Grant County warrant.

    Chief Rick Kells arrested Debra K. Campbell, 30, of Dry Ridge, on a warrant for failure to appear at 12:15 p.m. Oct. 11.

    Chief Rick Kells charged Shane E. Howell, 18, with theft by unlawful taking/shoplifting at 3:30 p.m. Oct. 4 on Ferguson Boulevard. Howell was lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.

    Chief Rick Kells investigated an accident at 12:13 p.m. Oct. 5 on Broadway. The driver involved was Jill C. Skaggs, 52, of Dry Ridge, driving a 2004 Toyota.

    Chief Rick Kells investigated an accident at 2:23 p.m. Sept. 24 on Blackburn Lane. The drivers involved were Rebecca S. Perry, 25, of Corinth, driving a 2006 Chrysler and Chandral K. Bamforth, 35, of DeMossville, driving a 2005 Hyundai.

    The Dry Ridge police department investigated an accident involving an out of county resident.
