Williamstown is offering free standard installation to the primary outlet for the first 150 Corinth customers to sign up for both cable and Internet service.

An informational meeting concerning the expansion of Williamstown Cable to Corinth is planned for 7 p.m. June 16 at the Corinth Community Center.

Both Grant County and Williamstown High Schools held their proms April 9, and although the weather gave us a scare early, it turned out to be absolutely gorgeous by the time we were scheduled to take pictures. You’re probably thinking, how does that relate to real estate? Well, I was checking the Northern Kentucky multiple listing service to see what kind of homes are available right now. And just like the variety of prom dresses that the girls had to choose from, buyers also have a huge amount of inventory to choose from.  

“It’s been ugly,” that’s how Deborah Lucas Angel, president of the Grant County Farmer’s Market, describes this growing season.

“First there was rain, then rain and rain, followed by cold, rain and then wind,” she said.

She said that some members of the Grant County Farmers Market have managed to get plants in the ground but fear now they’ll rot because of the rain followed by heat and humidity.
