    Recently, the Funeral Directors Association of Kentucky celebrated their 131st annual convention at the Hyatt Regency Hotel and at the Kentucky International Convention Center in Louisville. 

    The convention was attended by funeral directors, suppliers and their families. 

    Doug Stanley of Elliston-Stanley Funeral Homes was elected for the 2013-2014 year as the president-elect.

    According to the Northern Ky. Multiple Listing Service, sales statistics show that during 2012 there were 174 single family homes sold in Grant County.  That’s up from 2011 totals, which showed 159 single family homes sold.
