  • Damien Davidson, stillborn

    Damien Clayton Davidson was stillborn, Sunday, Aug. 29, 2010.

    Survivors include his parents, Donald and Tiffany Davidson of Crittenden and his grandparents, Charles and Sandy Taylor of Crittenden and Duane and Dorothy Davidson of Erlanger.

    Graveside services were held Sept. 14 at Hill Crest Cemetery in Dry Ridge.

    Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

  • Matthew Mefford, 39

    Matthew Robert Mefford, 39, formerly of Louisville, died Friday, Sept. 3, 2010, in Greensboro, N.C.

  • Freda Ashcraft, 69

    Freda Shelton Ashcraft, 69, of Williamstown, died Monday, Sept. 13, 2010, at her residence.

    She was a member of the Williamstown Christian Church and served 19 years as a receptionist at the Northern Kentucky Treatment Center in Crittenden.

    She was the daughter of the late Fred Douglas and Jennie Mae Webster Shelton. She is preceded in death by her son, Anthony Todd Ashcraft, who died in 2003 at the age of 33, and a brother, Ronnie Shelton who died in 2002.

  • Thomas Colson, 92

    Thomas J.  (Bub) Colson, 92, of Clyde, Ohio, formerly of Grant County, died Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2010, at The Garden Assisted Living Home in Clyde.

  • Anita Lewis, 90

    Anita Lewis, 90, of Dry Ridge, died Thursday, Sept. 2, 2010, at her residence.  

    She was a retired waitress for Hotel Donald in Williamstown and The Carlsbad Hotel in Dry Ridge.  She was a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church and attended Zion Baptist Church in Dry Ridge.

    She was preceded in death by her husband, John T. Lewis.  

    Survivors include a sister, JoAnn Williams of Ft. Thomas; her caregivers, Lawrence Cammack and Hazel Cammack, both of Dry Ridge and several nieces and nephews.  

  • Frances Curry, 92

    Frances Hall Curry, 92, of Crittenden, died Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2010, at her residence.

    Survivors include a son, Donald Curry of Crittenden; daughters, Patricia Essex of Kingsland, Ga., Linda Crupper of Williamstown and Sue Curry of Crittenden; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

    Funeral services were held Sept. 3 at Hamilton-Stanley Funeral Home in Verona.

    Burial was in New Bethel Cemetery in Verona.

     

  • Edward Bishop, 85

    Edward Bishop, 85, of Williamstown, died Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2010, at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Lexington.

    Survivors include his wife, Orpha Bishop; a son, Ted Bishop of Williamstown; daughters, Linda Kay Gibson and Michaela Lynn Bishop, both of Manchester; a sister, Cleo Abercrombie of Williamstown; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

    Graveside services were held Sept. 7 at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North in Williamstown.

  • Faye Morrisey, 76

    Faye McCubbin Morrisey, 76, of Verona, died Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2010 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood.

    Survivors include a son, Jonathan W. Morrisey of Verona; a brother, J.B. McCubbin of Union and several nieces and nephews.

    Funeral services were held Sept. 3 at New Bethel Baptist Church in Verona.  

    Burial was in the Hill Crest Cemetery in Dry Ridge.

    Hamilton-Stanley Funeral Home handled the arrangements.

  • Martha Brown, 85

    Martha Landman Brown,  85, of Williamstown and formerly of Louisville, died Thursday, Aug. 26, 2010, at the Walters Family Care Home in Williamstown.  

    Survivors include a sister, Mary Sloan of Florida and one nephew and one niece.

    Funeral services were held Aug. 29 at Elliston–Stanley Funeral in Williamstown,

    Burial was in the Williamstown Cemetery.

     

  • Loretta Easterling, 82

    Loretta Easterling, 82, of Crittenden, died Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2010, at her residence.

    Survivors include her brothers, William Walker of Charleston, W.Va. and Cletus Walker of Scott Depot, W.Va.

    Funeral services were held Aug. 28 at Goshen Christian Church in Morningview.

    Burial was in Highland Cemetery in Fort Mitchell.
