  • Emma Adams, 94

    Emma Rachel Collier Adams, 94, formerly of Mason, died Monday, July 16, 2012.
    Survivors include many nieces and nephews and many special friends.
    Funeral services were held on July 21 at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home  in Williamstown.  
    Burial was in the Williamstown Cemetery.
     

  • William ‘Billy’ Deaton, 33

    William “Billy” Deaton, 33, of Dry Ridge, died  Tuesday, July 10, 2012, in Canton, Mich.
    Survivors include his mother, Nikki Deaton of Union and his maternal grandparents, James and Terrie Deaton, of Dry Ridge.
    Funeral services were held on July 16 at the Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home in Ludlow.
    Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery in Southgate.

  • Charles Gordon, 76

    Charles Franklin Gordon, 76, of Harrison and Grant County, died Thursday, July  19, 2012, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Williamstown.
    He was born in Harrison County to the late John and Lottie North Gordon on June 9, 1936.  He was a retired farmer and member of the Corinth Christian Church.  
    His wife, Daisy Laytart Gordon, preceded him in death.  

  • Marcia Vaughn, 49

    Marcia Ann Vaughn, 49, of Crittenden, died Wednesday, July 11, 2012, at her residence.
    She was a homemaker and member of the Liberty Apostolic Church in Sherman. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Ronald and Douglas Vaughn and a sister, Cathy Vaughn.
    Survivors include her parents, Roy and Imogene Vaughn of Crittenden; brothers, Dennis Vaughn of Crittenden and David Vaughn of Lexington and a sister, Pamela Carnes of Dry Ridge.
    Funeral services were held on July 14 at the Eckler- McDaniel Funeral Home in Dry Ridge.

  • Gerald Jones, 72

     Gerald Thomas Jones, 72, of Edgewood, formerly of Pendleton County, died Monday, July 16, 2012, at his residence.
    Survivors include his brothers, Paul Jones of Corinth and Kenneth Jones of Williamstown and a sister, Birteana Browning of Dry Ridge.
    Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. on July 19 with funeral services at 11 a.m. at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Erlanger.
    Burial will be in the Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Erlanger.

  • Chester Dixon, 60

    Chester Lane Dixon, 60, of Corinth, died Friday, July 13, 2012, at the St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Edgewood.
    Survivors include his sons, Marcus Dixon of Houston, Texas and Matthew Dixon of Florence; sisters, Beverly Wade of Berry, Rebecca Bronough of Lexington and Judy Hilliard of Frankfort.
     Graveside services and burial will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 21 at the Raven Creek Cemetery in Harrison County.

  • Barbara Howe, 77

    Barbara Ann Howe, 77, of  Williamstown, died Saturday, July 14, 2012, at the St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Williamstown.
    Survivors include her husband, Harry W. Howe of Williamstown; a son, Randy Howe of Williamstown; a daughter, Debra Holland of Dry Ridge and two grandchildren.
    Funeral services were July 17 at the Knoxville Baptist Church.
    Burial was in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Pendleton County.

  • Zeffa Robinson, 98

    Zeffa M. Robinson, 98, of Dry Ridge, died Tuesday, July 10, 2012,  at the Grant Manor Nursing Home in Williamstown.
    Survivors include a daughter, Dora M. Kidwell of Williamstown; 21 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and five great, great grandchildren.
    Funeral services were held on July 13 at the Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home in Dry Ridge.
    Burial was in the Hill Crest Cemetery in Dry Ridge.

  • Denise Sturgil, 39

    Denise Sturgil, 39, of Florence, died Monday, July 2, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Ft. Thomas after a battle with cancer.
    She is survived by her brother, Loren Huddleston of Dry Ridge, a sister, Rose Hernandez of Dry Ridge, her fiancée, Kevin Fry of Florence and two nieces, Angela Smith and Natasha Huddleston.
    Funeral services were held July 7 at Integrity Mortuary.
     

  • Betty Hunter, 66

    Betty Kinman Hunter, 66, of Crittenden, died Monday, July 2, 2012 at the Hospice Care Center in Lexington.

    She was a retired employee of the Grant County Board of Education, a member of the Mt. Olivet Christian Church in Williamstown and daughter of the late Hiram Samuel and Emma Sullivan Osbourn Kinman.
