Henry and Imogene Colson McAdams of Dry Ridge will celebrate their 60th anniversary June 5.

Bro. Hank and Imogene were married by Ralph L. Records at Clinton Church of Christ in Clinton, Ohio.

In observance of their anniversary, a party will be held June 6 at Sherman Church of Christ. The party is given by family and friends.

Hank and Imogene have three children. Their names are; Sherry Johnson of Kalkaska, Mich., Michael McAdams of Oxford, Mich .,and Shawn Flennor of Fishers, Ind. The couple has five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Herman Melville’s classic novel “Moby Dick” has been brought to life by a Dry Ridge artist.

Fourteen pieces of art by Kathleen Piercefield, a printmaker and painter, is being shown in the exhibit, Moby Dick: Heart of the Sea, at the Rockford Art Museum in Rockford, Ill.

She is joined in the exhibit, which runs through July 5, by two other artists whose work was inspired by the book.

On May 31, Woodrow and Viola Cook will be celebrating 63 years of marriage. They were married in 1946.

They have three children; daughters, Shirley Wilson and Brenda Fornash, both of Dry Ridge and son, James Kenneth Cook of Pinellas Park, Fla. They have six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
