  • A Healing Kind of Faith

I recently watched an episode of “Our America with Lisa Ling” about a faith healing ministry in Fort Mill, S.C.

Ling, a television journalist, took a camera crew to document the very Pentecostal healing meetings to which hundreds of people came, some traveling hundreds of miles. Two sisters came with their mother who had terminal cancer, as did Steve, a man in a wheelchair, paralyzed from the waist down.

  • ‘He gave His life, what more could he give?’

Do you remember the worship chorus from the 1975 called O, How he Loves You and Me? I sang this song as a young man sitting in church. There is a line in this chorus that goes “He gave His life, what more could he give?”

The laying down of one’s life is one of the ultimate acts of love a person can make. But Jesus was more than just a person and he actually demonstrated his love in a much stronger way that we do not even realize.
