    • Rhonda used Romans 8:26-27 for the message. In one’s prayer life, a person needs to take time to be quiet before God and yield to the work of the Holy Spirit.

    • Tuesdays – Lunch, Bible study and prayer with the women at 12:30 p.m. For more information, call 859-394-2586.

  • Easter: Celebration of life

Easter is one of the best times of the year. Spring is just around the corner. You can buy "Peeps" at the store and there are always eggs to color. There is something about this holiday that propels us into good spirits. Maybe it’s the warm weather, baseball season beginning (Go Reds) or the hope of summer coming.

I believe there is a bigger reason for the hope that spring brings to us. This hope is found is something much more profound. The hope of Easter comes in the reality of why we celebrate with so much anticipation.

    • Wednesday evenings - Bible Study for the adults with an informal setting. The children have a fun night in their area.

  • Was God punishing us?

    Scripture Verse:
Now there were some present at that time who told Jesus about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mixed with their sacrifices. Jesus answered, “Do you think that these Galileans were worse sinners than all the other Galileans because they suffered this way? I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish. Or those eighteen who died when the tower in Siloam fell on them-do you think they were more guilty than all the others living in Jerusalem? I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish.”

    • Rhonda’s challenge was to continually trust, continually pray, continually praise and have continual peace and safety. If people have little time to pray, they have little power to trust. Where the presence of God is, the great peace of God is.
    • March 11 - Annual Business Meeting. No church that evening. For more information, call 859-394-2586.

  • I can’t be used

I was talking to someone the other day who made this statement: “I have done so much stuff in my life, so much that I don’t really think God can or would or would want to use me… so I really don’t think about church any more… I don’t think about God any more… I’ve done too much stuff.”
