    • Rhonda spoke Sunday morning on Keeping a Cutting Edge using 2 Kings 6:1-7 as the scripture. Sometimes people become dull, losing their cutting edge and operate without the power of the Holy Spirit. Call on Jesus Christ for his help, go back to the place where power was lost and do the first works over, toss the flesh (wood) into the river of the spirit-filled life and reach out to the Holy Spirit when He comes.

  • What can wash away my sins?

On May 30, 1978, the blood of Jesus cleansed me from all my sin.

Actually, that happened 2,000 years before that, but I didn’t know it until that day.

As my Jesus-anniversary present this year, I bought myself a CD of old hymns set to new music. It’s called “For All the Saints,” the third Indelible Grace project (see www.igracemusic.com).

    •  Rhonda spoke on John 2 where Jesus turned the water into wine at the wedding feast. The governor of the feast remarked to the bridegroom that he saved the best to the last. That is God’s principle.
    • The ladies meet on Tuesdays at 12:30 p.m. to study Joyce Meyer’s book, “The Battlefield of the Mind,” starting with lunch, study and prayer. Pat Mann and Rhonda take turns teaching.

A Northern Kentucky native, Daniels re-located to Washington, D. C. where they raised their two daughters and became involved in lay leadership at the National Presbyterian Church.

She also served in professional ministry there for over five years as director of children’s ministries.

  • Lay that Donkey down, rest in God’s Love

A young boy and an old man were walking with a donkey when a group of people passed by. “Isn’t that ridiculous that no one’s riding that donkey.” one person said. So, the old man, told the boy to ride the donkey. Another group of people passed and someone said, “That’s terrible! Look at that young boy riding that donkey while the old man walks.”
