In the first book of John, in the first verse, the same words are used,

One day at the library, a book fell off a shelf and hit a boy named Milo Crinkley on the head.
The title, “Be A Perfect Person In Just Three Days,” was just what he needed.

Shayanna Jolly wasn’t always sure she wanted to be a pastor.
“I was originally a drama major,” said the Transylvania University graduate. “I didn’t really want to be an actor, but I loved the arts and I wanted to be involved in non-profits in someway. Then, about the third year during my college experience, I got very involved in a church in Lexington called Central Christian Church. • Best gift is forgiveness

Well? Did you do it? Did you have a Merry Christmas? Did Santa bring you everything you wanted? Did you spend lots of time with loved ones? Did you eat too much? Most importantly, did you take time to reflect on the true meaning of Christmas? Did you ask yourself, “What’s the greatest gift I got this year?” I hope that you did. If not, why not do it now?

  • Grace of God

Tomorrow I will say goodbye to my wife and wish her well.  I will drop my kids off at school and tell them I love them. I will make the short drive to work. It will be like most other days.
Friday, in Newtown, Connecticut it seemed like a normal day too.  We were all taken aback and deeply saddened at the tragedy that struck that sleepy town last Friday.  Our hearts and prayers go out to them.  We cannot even imagine what they are feeling.
