I’m going to tell you something that will make you crazy. It might make you throw this newspaper down or spit out your coffee. You may send me a scathing e-mail or anonymous letter. You’ll definitely question my Christianity.

Here it goes: Jeffrey Dahmer might be in heaven.

The Sherman Church of Christ mission team will sponsor a Zumbathon at the Grant County Park in Crittenden from 10 a.m. to noon May 14.

The cost is $15 and all proceeds will go towards the team’s mission trip to help the people in the South. In addition to dancing, there will be goody bags and prizes given.

There will also be games for the children of the participants.

Grant County will be filled with prayers May 5 as day-long activities are planned to celebrate the National Day of Prayer.

Volunteers from about 10 local churches are joining to organize the event, which is in its third year in the county.
