    Anthony Cook of Owenton and Pam Mullins of Williamstown are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Bethany Rashell Newman to Michael David Turner, son of Ken and Patty Wininger.
    The wedding is being planned for 5 p.m. on June 28 at the Grant County Park in Crittenden with Bro. Joe Howard officiating.
    The maid of honor will be the sister of the bride, Stephanie Barnes of Dry Ridge. The bridesmaid will be Mikaela Turner of Carrollton.
    The flower girl will be Layla Newman and ring bearer will be Grace Newman.

    Mr. and Mrs. Daryl Koebcke of Williamstown are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Natalie Brianne to Adam Keith Leach, son of Mr. and Mrs. Noah Leach of Jeffersonville.
    The wedding is being planned for June 28, 2014.
    The bride is a 2007 graduate of Grant County High School. She is also a 2013 graduate of University of Kentucky.
    She is employed by University of Kentucky.
    He is also a 2013 graduate of University of Kentucky. He is employed by Union Pacific Railroad. The couple will reside in Texas.

  • WHS Alumni banquet May 31

    The Williamstown Alumni Banquet will be held at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, May 31 at the Williamstown High School gymnasium. Social hour and registration will begin at 5:30 p.m. and dinner will be at 6:30 p.m. The annual alumni banquet is for all graduates of the Williamstown High School and the classes of 1919, 1924, 1929, 1934, 1939, 1944, 1954, 1964,1974, 1979, 1984, 1989, 1994, 1999, 2004 and the class of 2014 graduates will be honored.

  • Relay fundraising events in full swing

    Grant County Relay For Life teams are gearing up for the 2014 relay, which is the signature fundraising event for the American Cancer Society.
    Team fundraisers include:
    • Heritage Bank, Dry Ridge – Candy bars are available for purchase.
    • Forcht Bank – Spa basket raffle. Basket contains nail and hair salon certificates, Bath and Body products, nail polish, etc. Value - $165. Tickets are $2 each or four for $6. Basket can be viewed at Crittenden branch, but tickets can be bought at any Eagle Bank location. The drawing will be May 8.
