• Cummins - O’Nan set date

    Ken and Cynthia Cummins of Dry Ridge are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Ashley Chantelle Cummins to Jason Lee O’Nan, son of Cathy Penick of Dry Ridge and the late Bill O’Nan.

    The wedding is being planned for 5:30 p.m. on Oct. 12 at the Williamstown Christian Church. A reception will follow at the Ridge Banquet Center in Dry Ridge.

    The bride is a 1999 graduate of Grant County High School. She is employed by the Congage Learning.

  • Madden completes training

    Cadet Orry William Madden, son of William and Sheila Madden of Dry Ridge completed Cadet Basic Training recently at the U.S. Military Academy. He is the grandson of Gay Madden of Russell and the late Fred Madden and Lowell and Nancy Roland of Dry Ridge.

    Madden entered West Point on July 1 and has successfully completed six weeks of CBT. Also referred to as “Beast Barracks,” CBT is one of the most challenging events a cadet will encounter over the course of their four years at the academy.

  • Gibsons celebrate 50 years


    Jerry Sr. and Brenda Gibson will celebrate their 50th anniversary on Saturday, Aug. 31, 2013. They currently reside in Bagdad, Fla. but lived in Crittenden for 25 years. 

    Jerry Sr. and Brenda were married by Charles L. Foley at his home in Piner.
