  • WHS Alumni banquet May 31

    The Williamstown Alumni Banquet will be held at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, May 31 at the Williamstown High School gymnasium. Social hour and registration will begin at 5:30 p.m. and dinner will be at 6:30 p.m. The annual alumni banquet is for all graduates of the Williamstown High School and the classes of 1919, 1924, 1929, 1934, 1939, 1944, 1954, 1964,1974, 1979, 1984, 1989, 1994, 1999, 2004 and the class of 2014 graduates will be honored.

  • Relay fundraising events in full swing

    Grant County Relay For Life teams are gearing up for the 2014 relay, which is the signature fundraising event for the American Cancer Society.
    Team fundraisers include:
    • Heritage Bank, Dry Ridge – Candy bars are available for purchase.
    • Forcht Bank – Spa basket raffle. Basket contains nail and hair salon certificates, Bath and Body products, nail polish, etc. Value - $165. Tickets are $2 each or four for $6. Basket can be viewed at Crittenden branch, but tickets can be bought at any Eagle Bank location. The drawing will be May 8.

  • Simpson-Bowling to wed

    Dennis and Tonya Bowling of Dry Ridge would like to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Tabitha Fae Bowling to Jared Samuel Simpson, son of Samuel and Janet Simpson of Russell.

    The wedding is being planned for 4:30 p.m. on Sept. 28 at the Williamstown Baptist Church. A reception will follow at the Bowling Farms.

    The bride is a 2006 graduate of Grant County High School. She is also currently enrolled in the nursing program at Northern Kentucky University.
